I'm sorry, but this is hysterical. I have never thought of making my kids write sentences. Does this work? I think my kids would actually like this punishment too much. :)
I don't know if it was the sentences or the fact that my kids knew they made me extremely upset today, but it worked really well. My house was so peaceful and quiet for a good thirty minutes. I didn't tell them how many to write, just told them to write until I said they could quit.

That's something new to try, but as greygillfish mentioned, mine as well might enjoy it too much :)

awwww! :) it reminds me of bart simpson writing funny sentences on the blackboard at the beginning of "the simpsons".
